The location was prime for exploring Florence, with major sights like the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella just a short stroll away, and the stunning Gallerie Degli Uffizi not too far either. I particularly enjoyed my time in the roomy Double or Twin Room which added comfort after long days of sightseeing. There was a lovely selection of pastries at breakfast that set a positive tone for the day. The slight noise from the bustling area didn't overshadow the overall enjoyable stay.

The room was clean and offered a comfortable space, complete with a kettle for hot drinks and complimentary snacks. The location was also convenient, being just a short walk from major attractions and public transport.
The check-in process was confusing, and I experienced a lack of communication when needing to enter the premises after hours, which led to some unnecessary stress. The early 10 AM checkout felt rushed after a trip filled with adventures.

My suite was tastefully decorated and very well kept. The location of the hotel was central, close to the Medici Chapel, supermarkets, restaurants, souvenir shops, leather bags and apparel stores, laundry service shop, and Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and the leather market. I enjoyed Il Cantone del Guelfo, nestled 5 minutes away on foot...

Oh, the culinary gems nearby! Bar Centrale whipped up an espresso that danced on my palate, while Trattoria Bondi served a heavenly pasta that seemed like a warm embrace. Plus, the room was clean and well-maintained.
The reception's early closure at 9pm could leave some guests in the lurch like I was, trying to call in the midst of a dusky Florence! On the bright side, it just added to the charm of being an adventurous traveler.

The hotel was in an excellent location, just minutes walk from tourist attractions, great restaurants, train station and shops. The staff was exceptional, very helpful right from the minute we set foot in the door, with everything, from suggestions to great food, shopping, and even attraction locations and local events. Not to mention the price was very fair. I highly suggest Hotel Ester for anyone who's looking for a wonderful experience in Florence. The knowledgeable owner was even helpful in suggesting scenic spots in the Tuscan region.

Great location for explorers
The vibrant energy of Florence enveloped us as we stepped out. The room was spacious, neat, and provided a cozy retreat after full days of sightseeing. The breakfast pastries were good and perfect for kickstarting our mornings.
Despite the cute location, we faced a bit of trouble with check-in after hours, which left us feeling a tad lost. The bathroom drainage was inconsistent.

The room was much nicer than we'd expected, and the location was very good.
There were only two showers near our room and one toilet, which was a bit annoying. It wasn't a big deal, but sometimes having to wait was less than ideal.

The bathroom ventilator was unbearably noisy, and I just couldn't believe my ears! I needed extra biscuits and was told there was no refill, how rude! To top it off, I expected a complimentary upgrade for my troubles, but alas, none was offered. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.
